Last night in Pune, I found out my Pune trip was definitely incomplete. Two weeks was not enough for us to explore this city, so as to explore India as a country. Our major expected outcomes were the overall experience to places and people with their colorful culture here
Morning would be the time that I love most during my time in Pune. Every morning, students would be waked up by the melody of Vande Mataram the national song. The sun shines just enough to light up everything. Breakfast is served in the dining hall. Rohan Mithila is just few minutes to all campuses.
Pune is full of smiles from the local people, some even wave at the BU students with all the happiness and excitement on their faces. We tried to capture some of the smiles on the way to Laxmi Road in Budhawar Peth, one of the common commercial localities in Pune.
It was a long journey from Mumbai to Pune in the weather of 40 Celsius degrees and we can’t wait being in the city known as the “New India”. My first impressions, which I believe we share in common, were all about the weather, the local people with colors, music and vehicles.
